We are seeking a proactive and reliable individual to join our busy and supportive team as a Facilities Assistant on a casual basis at St Margaret’s Anglican Girls School.

We are initially looking for someone who is available to work full‑time hours for approximately 4–6 weeks from July, after which the role will continue on a casual, ad‑hoc basis as needed.

The role

The Facilities Assistant is responsible for a broad and diverse range of duties each day to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.  Some examples of the responsibilities of the role include: 

  • Minor building and facilities maintenance
  • Event and function setup and pack down
  • Assisting with swimming pool operations
  • Occasional bus driving, supported by appropriate training and school assistance to acquire appropriate licences 
  • Traffic marshalling support and
  • General grounds maintenance
