Food and Beverage Attendant

  • Part-time, stable hours -  approximately 25 hours per week.  Rosters will be negotiated with the successful candidate to accommodate individual availability and school requirements, with a preference for mornings or evenings to be considered. Work is primarily Monday to Friday, with limited weekend or late-night shifts that are rostered well in advance.  Please highlight in your cover letter if you have a preference for morning shifts, evening shifts or no preference.

About the Role:

  • Deliver outstanding food and beverage service at school functions and events both large and small.
  • Provide exceptional and consistent service to all guests.
  • Manage service, set-up and pack-down of functions.
  • Maintain high standards of presentation, hygiene, and guest care.
  • Collaborate with the Functions and Events Coordinator, kitchen staff, and facilities team to ensure every event runs smoothly.
  • Support the catering team with administrative tasks, compliance documentation, and staff induction, as required.

About You:

  • Previous experience in hospitality or events is highly regarded.
  • A positive attitude with a keen eye for detail and pride in your work.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Current RSA certificate required.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Commitment to the safety, welfare, and wellbeing of students.
