NETBALL COACHES

St Margaret's netball teams represent the school in various competitions throughout the year. This includes QGSSSA competition, Downey Park Netball Association club competition, QISSN and the Vicki Wilson school competition. 

The netball program is coordinated by our Head of Netball, Teacher Coordinator, a number of Lead Coaches and Coaches.  Coaches lead one or two training sessions per week with fixtures to be held on Saturdays. 

We are currently seeking Coaches for the 2026 Netball season:

The role of coach is to deliver coaching sessions developed by the Lead Coach which encourage teamwork, skills and technique development.  To view the position description please click here.

ABOUT YOU

You will be an experienced, qualified and enthusiastic coach, who has a proven ability to develop young netball players skills and instil a passion for the sport.  

Essential requirements:

  • Have, or be working towards, a minimum Netball Australia – Foundation Coaching accreditation.  Netball Australia Development Coaching accreditation or higher will be highly regarded.
  • Previous coaching experience 
  • Experience in playing netball.
  • A working with children blue card or exemption card.
  • A current first aid and CPR certificate.
